"A beautiful villa in wonderful surroundings, well equipped and spacious. Dante and Rosa were wonderful hosts, providing us with home made cake, biscuits, bread etc and were extremely helpful. The National Park was a delight and we spent interesting days in Porto, Braga, Montalegre and Guimaraes, as well as swimming in the river and the pool. The photographs are accurate but do not convey the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in extensive grounds which you are welcome to explore. The pool is large, clean and a lovely temperature. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise.
