We had a great stay, the place was extremely clean and the perfect space for what we needed. The fire pit and chairs were a lovely place for us to sit and chat. Everything we needed for cooking was accessible and ready for us. The host was extremely easy to get in contact with, and very helpful. My only suggestion for future guests is to make note of the access code before arriving as there is spotty service before connecting to wifi (no fault of the hosts!). Overall great place to stay, would return!

We had a really great time at the cottage. The location is private, surrounded by nature and provides a sweeping view of the lake. The cottage is well kept and the host took great care to offer all amenities. We appreciated the little details such as robes for all guests, sandbox for my toddler, kitchen appliances beyond the basics, well-maintained boating equipment, etc. The cottage, while offering privacy, is conveniently located close to town. We thank the host for their hospitality and would love to visit again!

I can't say enough great things about this cottage! Baha is an exceptional host, and has gone above and beyond to make this cottage experience superb. The cottage itself is right on the water, with an outdoor firepit and muskoka chairs, we felt this place was so peaceful and relaxing. The bathrooms are very nice and well stocked, the beds and pillows are so comfy, the sheets are pristine clean, the hot tub was amazing. Baha was very fast at responding to any questions we had. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing, private and tranquil getaway, its truly one of a kind!

The cottage is wonderful, perfectly clean in order. The big open space of kitchen and living room makes it perfect also to stay inside if the weather turns cold. Outside the whirlpool it’s perfect to enjoy nature in a warm and cozy bath . The lake is beautiful and ready to explore with kayaks and canoe provided. 100% recommended

The cottage was an amazing and beautiful experience! We went in the winter and the cottage had someone plowing the drive way (which I was worried about) so no problems with tending to the weather! The cottage was also very clean and the amenities were amazing! Great trip we want to go back in the summer!

Beautiful cottage on the lake. Very clean and stocked with all the things you will need for cooking, cleaning, and entertaining. Host were great to communicate with and had everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub and grill were easy to use and great additions to the property. I really hope to come back here in the future. The only thing that would improve this place is some blinds or curtains as it was quite bright in the morning. That being said the view was amazing and made waking up a treat. 10/10, will be back.

Nice place, excellent location

The property is lovely -- and just like the listing said it was: modern, spacious and well appointed. The location is excellent: on the lake, lots of space to unwind outside, and close to Bracebridge. One small thing: bring a sleep mask if you wake up when there sun comes out -- there are no curtains on the windows.

This was our first experience renting a cottage and it could not have been better. We travelled with our two adult children and two dogs and there was plenty of space for all of us. The property is beautiful and well maintained every detail was thought of from the fully equipped kitchen to the well stocked bathrooms. The host has bug spray and mosquito coils available for use as well. There is toys, games, books and a sandbox built if you have young children and there was also dog balls and a dog bed. This attention to detail is outstanding. The beds were comfortable and clean, there were extra blankets and pillows as well as cozy robes. The internet was very good and a nice TV with plenty of channels to watch. The property is quiet and private with lots of opportunity to soak up the sun lounge on the large deck or spend time in the hot tub. We had an amazing time and would definitely return again!

Honeymoon

This cottage was above amazing! A beautiful winter retreat, they have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend from a fantastic hot tub to some cozy robes to keep you warm. The place was spotless when we arrived which was great way to start the stay. Baha was an amazing host, he made the check in and check out process a breeze! Overall 10/10 vacation and will definitely be planning another stay here in the summer months to come!

Great Place

We stayed just after Labor Day, everything was very quiet. The water was surprisingly warm. The lake is a good size and we had fun kayaking around. The entrance to the lake was a bit mucky, maybe due to recent rain. Hot tub was amazing. The cottage itself was spotless, and had every amenity you could have thought of and more.

Long Weekend Getaway

The perfect cottage for a friends weekend getaway! Baha was a great host and great with communicating. The checkin was seamless and wow what a gorgeous cottage! Very clean and well kept and the beds were soooo comfy. Not to mention the most gorgeous view! I The hot tub was a nice treat as well :) would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing cottage getaway. We hope to be back again soon!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Lakeside Haven. It was close to nearby towns for visiting and supplies and there was lots of wildlife in the area! The beds were comfortable as were the other seating areas. The cottage was well supplied with essentials and cook ware. We appreciated the canoe and kayaks and used them everyday. A couple of additions would have made our stay perfect:Dressers for people staying a week, window coverings in the bedrooms, a dock(being planned), greater recycling capacity. These inconveniences did not detract from our stay at this lovely place and the best part was the ease of communication with Baja who was responsive, accommodating and understanding.

Quiet Oasis

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. All the amenities were top notch and the views from inside the cottage are breathtaking thanks to the large windows throughout the cottage. The lake, while peaceful and quiet was still large enough to spend the entire day canoeing or kayaking and plenty of good fishing spots. There is no dock on the property however launching a canoe or kayak was easy thanks to the sandy and shallow shoreline. Dog loved it, we loved it. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

A lovely cottage and a super spot. The house has amazing views over the lake for bedrooms and living spaces. A great seating area with fire pit close to the shore was well used and we managed to explore the lake in the canoes provided in the garage. There are no children’s buoyancy aids so best bring your own to avoid some upset little ones.

Family getaway

This is a fantastic accomodation for anyone looking for a beautiful, well-equipped new cottage nestled in a quiet, forested location. It is on a quiet lake that is great for canoeing and Kayaking (both of which are provided for your use). The deck overlooking the water is great and all the solar lighting creates a beautiful ambiance at night, especially while soaking in the hot tub. A dock to enjoy the sunshine a little longer throughout the day and to by-pass the few weeds near the shore would make this a perfect 5 across the board. Thank you for an amazing stay.
