"Very easy to get to from the train station and very central to shops and restaurants. The cathedral is just across the street. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Although the building is over 500 years old the rooms are roomy, nice and clean!! Loved this place!"

"Really lovely break, room was clean and of a good standard, breakfast option excellent as was the staff. Only downside was the building works and workmen outside our window, a little unsightly and workmen very unexpected. Everything else perfect. Definitely worth a visit, in the centre of the city with everything on your doorstep."

"This was a great little place. Very convenient to the train station which was why we picked it. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly. Easy to walk into town and to the bus stop for the Stonehenge bus. "

Just one little thing you could of put 2 small towels in the room instead of one and we could of had shower gel on the second night as we used it up the first night I didn’t spoil our weekend just thought I would point it out Thank up for our time with you"

"We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal and toast and juice The room was comfortable, with enough space for all of us. The children were provided with fold out mini-beds that were made up with bedding. They slept comfortably. Our bed was comfortable and cosy The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the top. Soap and shower gel provided with big thick towels. The only thing missing was a wash cloth but we made do We were quite warm in the night but we did not want to leave the window open while we slept incase the children tried to climb through (traditional lift-up window). The grounds were beautiful and we had short walk around in the morning to say hi to the sheep and cows roaming the fields which was a lovely touch Overall it was a lovely stay and we would come again and recommend it to friends and family wanting to stay in the area. "I was in a superior room. Breakfast more than adequate. Parking around back which is always good in towns like this. City parking is expensive (30 a day). Very handy to everywhere in town . Has all the mod cons in the room. "
