4/10 Poor

"The pictures on Expedia of this hotel do not look like the room I actually stayed in. I wanted a room with a desk for my husband to work at. Yes, there was a desk chair, but there was no desk anywhere in the room even though the picture of the room online specifically showed the chair sitting at a desk. When we spoke to the front desk person, we were told that was the only room available. I would also note there were no bedside tables, no bedside lights, and no headboard on the bed. The room was clean but we would not choose to stay here again. I feel the pictures were very misleading about the type of hotel we were choosing to stay at."

"The Hotel was as well cared for inside and out. The rooms are a good size and as a pet friendly hotel, had dedicated space. They may want to consider poop bags for ease and forgetful pet owners. The hotel is close to the airport and easy access to highways, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. The one area for improvement is the customer service standard for staff in the restaurant. Overall exceeded my expectation!"

"Excellent decor, lighting and ambiance in lobby. Excellent food both in breakfast area and restaurant. Excellent staff throughout. Room was spacious, nicely furnished and well lit. Pool area in central courtyard REALLY needs work. Cement floor is very visibly worn, plants are sparse and a little anemic, pool itself needs updating, all of which results in a large focal point space that is uninviting. Then there is the powerful odor of chlorine that wafts into your nose the minute you enter the area, yuk! Decor in the restaurant needs updating, ugly color scheme, harsh lighting, needs to be softened."

"We stay here often on our way to the coast. Staff is always very friendly. We don't gamble so have never been to the Casino. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I highly recommend the Bay view room. There is a train that runs by the property but it comes and goes pretty quick. Good value fuel and snacks at the Gas Station next to the parking lot. "
