"Our house was fully furnished. The only things missing were pot holders and directions for the stove top. It was immaculate, comfortable, with a charming view of the water. The best aspect was a built-in sandy beach in the enclosed yard for the kiddies with a boardwalk to the edge of the ocean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"

"This was our 4th or 5th time staying at this house, though the last time was 15 years ago. It was so nice to be back at such a special cottage, with the marsh out back and the ocean out front. We love the coziness of the cottage, which had most everything that we needed. The master bedroom is particularly special and the location is probably the best on the island. The only constructive comment would be that the living room furniture is feeling a little tired and we really miss the coziness of the screened in porch when it was set up with actual furniture, creating a great place to hang out. Also, there used to be a hammock on the deck that was perfect for reading in the trance of the marsh. Otherwise, it was wonderful to be back at this very special place again. "

"This Villa is located within walking distance of the main facilities, the Lake House with restaurants, bars, golf course as well as the pool and beach access. The house also has good water views. It's on a private cul-de-sac with plentiful parking. Amenities include everything you need for a short or long term stay."

"We were in town for a wedding nearby & decided to make a long weekend out of it. From the moment we walked in, 1389 Pelican was WONDERFUL! Light music was playing, which made it feel so welcoming. It was so clean & stocked with all the essentials. The view & proximity to the beach was amazing! We will definitely be back again! "

"This location is fabulous. It’s about as beachfront as possible with views to water. Club membership allows access to an amazing facility although pools don’t open until march 15. A few minor things weren’t working when we arrived. Overall 5 stars and would love to rent again "
