"Very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and polite. Everything seemed great although Sunday night is popular in the pool with kids so less relaxing and burger in the bar was dry and overdone with a burnt bun, edible but if I was less hungry would have sent it back."
"Nice room with desk, table and chairs. Ajoining room with twin beds. Nice quiet remote area. You need a car to get around. Hazel the owner is a lovely lady and very helpful."
"Will stay here again. No parking outside the property, but there is a car park which is to pay for. Everything you need in the apartment. Only downside was that there was a rancid smell coming from the kitchen , which made you feel sick. So sprayed perfume all over it. Wasn't enough forks to feed the three of us. Will be back again "

Faded grandeur here. Could benefit from major investment. Slightly uneasy feel to the town. The chutch is stunning and well worth a visit through. Parking difficult to locate on satnav but reasonably priced.

Not a bad place, seems friendly enough, interesting buildings, the river, etc. worth a visit.
"This is our third time staying at Green Haven and each time we have opted for the Barn Owl cabin which is perfect for me and my wife and our little Chorkie. Previously we have stayed for only the one night but we enjoyed it so much that this time we opted for a two night stay. As with every time we were greeted like friends and made to feel so welcome. Keeley informed us that a fan had been put in the cabin which was a lovely touch considering it was so hot. We had brought a small fan with us, but this one was so much bigger and made sleeping on the comfy bed a pleasure. There was also a very nice, large parasol giving us and our pooch plenty of shade when enjoying our BBQ, the facilities of which are also provided. Green Haven is a beautiful place to stay. It’s so tranquil and it’s so nice to see birds and butterflies you don’t see in the towns and cities. Our dog loves to wander around the grounds sometimes doing three or four circuits. There is a dog friendly gated decking area too so we can safely let him off the lead. There is a big fishing pond (or is it a small lake) but to be honest it’s not for us. I can’t recommend Green Haven enough. We love it and can’t wait to return."
"Especially clean, staff were nice and professional, thankfully they had two fans in the cupboard as the room we were in was sweltering but it was one of the hottest days of the year so far didn’t have breakfast but it looked liked a good spread (Continental). The restaurant was busy on check in which says a lot about the food which is supposed to be brilliant so will deffo try next time.
Bed wasn’t the comfiest but all in all would recommend the hotel and would be happy to take the family back 😬"
