Pros: Location is very central in Boston. 10 minute away from major transit station. Host is very communicative and fast with responses. Large room and comfortable bed. Basics were provided such as shampoo conditioner body wash and paper towel and toilet paper. Maintenance people were very friendly and kind. Cons: Breaker would trip occasionally and you weren't able to run both ACs at the same time. Toilet needed to long press to flush properly. Check in information wasn't completely accurate so it took a while to get into the property. I would stay here again if I was in Boston again.

Not the nicest area ever, but it was fine. Felt a little run down going in from outside, up the elevator, and to the apartment. But once inside, it was comfortable, clean, spacious, and sufficient for my need. I just needed a place to sleep, shower, and get ready for work. The air conditioning was extremely loud but it was like white noise and blocked out the city noises. Overall I was pleasantly surprised, considering it was lower cost than most other options. I would stay there again if needed.

Came to Boston to take a few college tours and this was a pretty central location. This property was also very close to several other places we were hoping to see while in town. Communication was great and check in was seamless. The property was clean and perfect for our stay.

4 day visit to Boston

Location was perfect for being close all the sites we wanted to see but yet still still quiet for being in the city. We loved how easy it was to get groceries for eating in or the number of great restaurants nearby. Also, the T stations were really close which made travel easy and pleasant.

Comfortable apartment in ideal location!

This apartment has a beautiful view of the historic architecture around Boston Commons and is right across from a train station so you can walk or ride anywhere you need to in the city. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you might need, the beds are comfy and the water pressure is FANTASTIC .

Temple Place Suites was a great place to stay for our few days in Boston. We loved being across from Boston Commons, near great bakerys and cafes. It was a comfortable apartment with great space and plenty of amenities. Staff was great at communicating about check in, building codes and check out. Wished there were dish towels and wash cloths. Otherwise, it was great!!

location is walking distance to most places, clean unit with great security. Has a small issue on arrival, and the hosts could not have been more helpful, not just at that time but for the whole stay.

The location for this rental was in a prime spot. There are a several things that were lacking in this rental. The AC is not central air but a portable unit. When we arrived it was in the living room. Sometime while we were out and about, the AC unit was moved to the bedroom. Glad the unit was moved but was unaware there would be someone in our room while we were away. There were no kitchen towels to dry dishes or wash hands only a sponge. The kitchen was supplied to the very minimum and no toaster as stated in the listing. We were supplied with 3 bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth for a six night stay. While showering the water would change temperature as well as pressure. The toilet was a little tricky to flush.

عناصر لم تنل الإعجاب: ⁦النظافة⁩، و⁦تسجيل الوصول⁩، و⁦جهة التواصل مع المنشأة⁩، و⁦دقة إعلان المنشأة الفندقية⁩
This place was such a disappointment. The carpets are filthy, the shower water slows to a trickle every 16 seconds, then comes back ice-cold and then raging hot. The air conditioning units are just swamp coolers taped to the window. The front door lacks a deadbolt, so anyone could simply use a credit card to break into the room or just remove the combo box on the front to get in. The elevator to the building is scary (to say the least), and we weren't the only ones who thought that - we ran into other guests who refused to use the elevator for fear of getting locked in it. It's in a bad area with homeless people hanging out on the street and people doing drugs (probably why there's a combo lock on the building entry, and a different combo for each floor). When I brought our concerns to the property manager, they were quick to respond but offered to put us in another room (with the same issues) or to send a maintenance person to come up. After looking at the other reviews, I noticed the water issue has been reported before for many years.... These were not issues easily fixed by a maintenance person - and when I requested a refund, they refused because they offered two other options which falls in line with their cancelation policy terms. This place is NOT worth the money - save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else!

The unit was basic, clean, require climbing one flight of stairs (we were told of this), and cold. The portable heater was not up to the job. The location was ideal: close to public transport, restaurants, and entertainment.

Great location. Toilet did not flush well. We had to constantly use a plunger. Shower did not work well as the water turned on and off during the shower. Airconditioning only covered the bedroom and it was hot in the kitchen and living area: the place was advertised as air conditioned.

This is a ten out of ten for location. I had a couple of minor issues, but I was promptly responded to and the issues were resolved. It was a bit hot because I slept on the pull-out bed in the living room and my sister in the bedroom. The AC unit was a type of window unit but it was only in the bedroom. I was able to sleep just fine with the overhead fan, but it was definitely not as cold as the bedroom. However, I would stay here again for sure! The price and location are top notch!

Boston redux

Location ideal. Accommodation suffered from amenities. Bad coffee, and not even enough for length of stay (at one pouch a day). Dried coffee pouch in coffee maker; dirty cups in cupboard.heat blasting unnecessarily and not connected properly to vent and not corrected. Not a grain of salt in cupboard. Spare. Contact with management was timely but non productive. Offered unacceptable assistance.to

Good and bad

Location, location, location. Right by two different subway stops, the Boston Commons, the Freedom Trail, and many other key locations this was a great location. The unit was clean and updated. So some real positives. The negatives however include that the only air conditioning in the unit consisted of a loud in room unit in the bedroom that struggled to keep that room cool and did not help cool any of the other rooms. Also, we arrived on a Thursday, the elevator broke down during the day on Friday and was not repaired until Tuesday morning just before we checked out. So almost our entire stay we were forced to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs in a non-air conditioned stairwell.

We were looking for an affordable apartment close to public transportation and walking distance to Boston Common. This apartment definitely filled the bill. The bed was comfy with lucious soft sheets, which does matter to me. And the livingroom had a nice setup for watching TV which is how we wound down after a long day out and about. The kitchen had the very barest minimum but we didn't plan to cook anyway so no problem for us. When we first arrived we were a bit put off by some druggies who hang out at the corner. But they never bothered us and we came and went at all hours. There's the best breakfast/lunch place a few doors down (Bonjour) and a great restaurant/bar also (JM McCurdy, i think). We had a few problems (shower curtain rod wouldn't hold and the room temp was a bit warm) but the management was super responsive always (via text) and solved the problem...except for one issue: the water pressure in the shower would repeatedly cycle off after a few minutes then start up again as cold before getting back to the temp set. If that one major problem was fixed i'd def stay here again. GREAT LOCATION!!

The good: With a door code, a code for the 6th floor, and a door code, we definitely felt safe. The room was comfortable (though we were there in a temperate season) with a full kitchen. Also good location near transit and Boston Common. The bad: The shower was not much more than a trickle of water and the elevator doesn't go to the 6th floor, only the 5th. No view, we kept the curtains shut the whole time.
