"We spent one night at this hotel and loved it. We arrived early and one of our rooms was already ready, which was very convenient. Simple rooms but with everything. The spa is also great, and the restaurant is excellent. Everything went great and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come to this area. Only thing that could be improved is that the pool temperature was not very warm (definitely not 35 degrees), so it was a bit cold for the cool weather."

"This is my second visit all the staff can't do enough for you i had to ring and inform them I was going to be late checking in as I had problems they told me that was OK they even kept the restaurant open"

"Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!"

"Sehr gute Lage direkt an der Autobahn."

"Camera caldissima prezzo elevato"

"Nettes, rustikales Zimmer. Aber...! Kompliziertes self-checkin. Der Eigentümer hat den Überblick nicht, wer, was, wann bezahlt hat. Trotz 12 Std. "Sehr saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft. Personal war bei Anreise extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit . Schöner Bauhausstil und tolle Aussicht auf den See. Zu Fuß vom Ufer gut erreichbar, aber steiler Aufstieg über die Treppen. Mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten. Frühstück auf der Terasse war sehr schön!"

"This is a lovely, very clean and convenient hotel in Ascona, a charming little town. We stayed for just one night on our way to Italy, but we left with such fond memories of our stay. The hotel is family run, and the wonderful couple who run it make you feel genuinely welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. Their kindness and personal touch made the experience feel special. There are plenty of nice, clean hotels, but it’s the heartfelt hospitality here that makes this one truly...
