"Really beautiful hotel. Garden is superb. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. No possibility to eat on site. Closest restaurant is 8 minutes walk. For more choices, it requires a taxi to go downtown. No staff on site after 7 pm. Breakfast not available before 8 am unless you ask the day before (earliest at 7:30am)."

"My 12 year old daughter and I had a very comfortable stay. The room was basic but good. The grounds were beautiful -- I'd never seen a hummingbird in person before! My daughter enjoyed the pool, although it was small. The breakfast was excellent. And great service from the staff. Highly recommend!"

Rooms were clean and they had all the necessary amenities to be comfortable (small refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer, BBQ stove, a private terrace), However, the hotel has way too many rules and policies which makes it unwelcoming. "Fireside Inn is a lovely, restful, rustic retreat local near a mountain river. The Inn has its own ducks enjoying a small stream and little duck pound. George’s Grill offers great food.
