"The hotel had recently been renovated and this had created a number of problems. There was no shower screen or shower curtain so, however carefully we showered, it was impossible not to flood the bathroom floor. And the rooms and corridors had been laid with laminate flooring which amplified footsteps and voices, creating unnecessary noise. The staff were friendly but seemed inexperienced and uncertain. The receptionist did not know the hotel's wifi code, so we were unable to get online. And...

"Fantastic location, what a lovely town. The host was lovely and very friendly. The place is old but what does one expect in an old town. Yes there are stairs, but not an inconvenience. Yes it's right next to railway, but didn't bother me. There are window shutters you can close (, a previous review complained about the bright room🤔). Iverall I enjoyed my stay,safe,secure,clean,spacious room and bed was comfy. What more can one ask?"
