Newly renovated and meticulously decorated, you'll find no better place for you and your loved ones to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Conveniently located near most of the main attractions in the high country, guests can explore the town by visiting wineries, touring historical landmarks, going antiquing, discovering local eateries, and participating in family-friendly activities. Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. You'll be in awe at the exposed ceiling beams, magnificent pecky cypress woodwork, comfortable furniture, and brand-new appliances. I loved the setting for this mountain house. Great view of the surrounding mountains. Loved the creatures that would pay a visit including ground hogs, deer, and turkey. I would stay here again.

The house was nice, but there were blood stains on the sheets, and the coffee maker quit working, and they brought us a substitute coffee maker that was inferior and did not work well. Great location

Amazing stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. Absolutely beautiful views. Just be prepared for a super steep and winding mountain road, but the house is well worth the drive.

Great Family stay

This was a great house for our large family that stayed. There was 11 people total. 5 kids 10 and under. And 6 adults. Sleeping was no issue and cooking a big meal in the kitchen was a breeze. Great views of the mountains and great location into Boone and Blowing Rock. Would definitely recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Hello! Thank you so much for hosting us at Pecky Vista. We loved the house and it was a perfect spot located close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Wonderful home!

Having 4 en-suite bedrooms was wonderful with 4 couples. Seating in the gathering areas was plentiful. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was just right. Loved how open it was for everyone to be able to gather. Parking was also perfect as many homes only have 2 spaces and this one had 4. Check in at the gatehouse was easy. Received or key and parking sticker. Thanks for a great getaway!

Fabulous Mountain Get-a-way!

My family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful time at Pecky Vista! It is a very nice home with lots of space and a fun game room on the bottom floor. Bathrooms are beautiful and spacious, too. If you decide to stay here just be aware of taking Cherry to Chestnut to Hickory, as these roads aren't quite as steep. After traveling up and down a few times it wasn't as bad. Be sure to put your car in low gear going up the mountain.

Great week in a beautiful mountain home

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious, clean home. Great view of the Blue Ridge mountains. We loved the open, spacious design. Home had everything we needed to enjoy the week. One of the best features is each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath. Definitely recommend this home for large families and groups. Just be aware that the drive up is steep and twisty. But you are in the mountains so you should expect that. Not a problem as long as you take it nice and slow.

Beautiful home. Perfect for our group of 8. Gorgeous bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Two great living rooms. Dual zone thermostats were great. Large kitchen. Great porch outside. Absolutely fabulous. Will stay here again. Photos online used a filter that make the house look brighter. In reality it was much darker inside, but this is only a minor issue.

We LOVED Pecky Vista!

We were looking for somewhere for our family to stay and found Pecky Vista online. The home was super clean, great space inside and out. We loved having the deer walking through the back yard and hanging out. Plenty of space for everyone with a great view.
