"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"Great hotel with charm and character right on the perimeter of the bath city center. Easy walk to all of the main attractions. Parking right on site which was great. Older hotel so no elevator or air conditioning, but full of charm and very nicely maintained."

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!"

Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. Cons: Not the warmest reception from staff aside from the last day when we met two really friendly ladies. We were in a garden room which was nice enough inside, however, the glass wall/window were so exposing that you had to have the curtain pulled across the entire time. "Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen. "Lovely clean room with a fantastic shower. Very quiet. All the staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. We loved the inclusive buffet breakfast, there were plenty of places available to sit and eat at our leisure so it didn’t feel like a scrum. The complementary luggage storage on day of check-out was a godsend, as was the rack of rental brollies (first day in Bath was very rainy). Great first experience with Hampton By Hilton. Would 100% use again!"

"We had the best time at the Rose and Crown the staff were warm and friendly and the setting was just perfect.Bus stopped opposite to get to Bath so convenient.The food in the pub was excellent we had three couples with us and they all said how fantastic th food was.The rooms were absolutely pristine not a speck of dust bathroom was immaculate high praise for the cleaner.Breakfast was great plenty of choice.Definitely would go back here beautiful."

"The room was clean and funky in terms of decoration which we liked. We hadn't realised that it was not a bathroom ensuit but shared one with three other rooms, but this was also very clean and luckily we were the only occupied room for the night we spent there. The staff were friendly and as we had to leave early the next morning kindly laid on a breakfast bap for us at 7am. An excellent setting next to the river and ideally suited for a short trip into Bath."
