"Clean and a unique experience but we had ants in the bathroom. Had no water when we got up but no one prepared us by letting us know a water main broke and there was no one in the office when we tried to ask. Had to call someone."

"The hotel is unique and wonderful. It is an unmanned property, so you won’t necessarily see another person while you’re there. You’ll receive a door code when you arrive, and instructions on where to find the key to your room. There is a large common room with kitchen facilities and room to gather and relax. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable, as did the air conditioning unit with a remote control. Shampoo, conditioner body wash and hand soap were all provided, If we every happen to pass through Okemah, OK again, we will definitely stay at the Velvet Woody!"
