"I’ve stayed at Home2 Suites Stillwater several times in 2026, and my first three stays were excellent. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was a very different experience. We checked in close to midnight and were given a room with one of the most offensive odors I have ever encountered — and I work in hospitality, so that is saying something. We went back to the front desk and were eventually moved, but the process felt awkward and disorganized, especially at that hour. The replacement room was in a lower-priced room category, yet there was no adjustment offered to our rate. More concerning, it didn’t appear that any notes were left for the night auditor or incoming staff about what had happened — including the need to take the original room out of service. I explained the situation to the morning desk clerk, and thankfully, she worked some magic and handled things much more professionally. I really appreciated her assistance. I’m writing this review mostly because I was genuinely surprised by the lack of communication between shifts. Having had three great stays here previously, I know this property is capable of much better. One small side note: coffee was also slow to be replenished the next morning, so if you’re counting on breakfast and caffeine, I’d recommend getting downstairs early."

"Beautiful, historic venue with so much charm! The inside is pristine, so clean and really lovely with gorgeous period decor. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. You feel immediately like you are just staying in a big, beautiful house, because you are! The outside could use some gardening and landscaping attention, but maybe it's just the season. Even this seems to add to its mystique and charm. The staff are amazing--so pleasant and helpful. They even allowed us to store some items in their staff fridge prior to our check in. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed walking the grounds. I honestly did not want to leave. I felt such a sense of peace and calm. The history of the property is so interesting and I imagine having a wedding there must be divine. Thank you for such a lovely overnight."

"The property was under construction while we were there. Our room had a hard time cooling down - the ac was cooling but it just took forever to really be cool. Other than that, breakfast was good, staff was attentive."

"Stayed for a few days while niece was getting married at event center close by. Loved being able to have our fur babies with us. Plenty of places to sleep and great communication with host. Great distance in between Perkins and Stillwater. Was never far from anything you needed."
