The ground floor features a cosy sitting room with a small Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and WC. Upstairs, the dining room sets the scene for family meals, the Master Bedroom offers a king-size bed (150cm wide), while Bedroom Two has a single bed (90cm wide), with an additional pull-out bed to make a 180cm side-by-side twin (for bookings with four guests only). Outside, the courtyard garden offers a serene retreat with table, chairs and a storage cabin for beach gear. Just 500 metres away, Bognor’s famous seafront beckons for bathing and beach fun.

Located just a brief walk from Bognor’s town centre and beach, Tern Cottage provides easy access to an array of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment options. The pebble shore reveals large stretches of sand as the tide goes out, and is just a short, flat walk from the house. Local shops and pubs are plentiful nearby, and there are larger supermarkets including M&S, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl within a 5-10 minute drive.
Nearby sights, attractions and day trips include Bailiffscourt Spa in Climping, Butlins with its indoor and outdoor water park and a range of entertainment and rides, the historic market town of Arundel, the cathedral city of Chichester, the South Downs, and the Goodwood Estate.

- Please search and contact us for stays over 21 nights (we cannot administrate these via this platform).
- A security deposit of GBP200 is a condition of booking, if not taken by this platform we will contact you after booking to arrange.
- Once you have placed your booking request, before we can process your booking we will require some simple additional information such as postal address, direct email and guest details. Please do not book if you are unable to provide this, as we cannot offer a refund on this basis.
- Arrival and departure times are clearly stated. As our properties can be booked right up until the last minute, we are unable to confirm early check-in or late check-out requests until 24-72 hours prior to your arrival/departure. Should you prefer to guarantee any such request now, please add an additional night to the start and/or end of your booking.
- Top tip: Adding another night or two may only cost a little extra, or sometimes nothing at all! This is a great way to add some flexibility to your stay (please let us know if you plan to arrive the day after your start date).
- Kitchen facilities: single electric fan oven with grill, 4-ring gas hob, tall fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, Bialetti Moka Pot, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine.
- Iron and ironing board provided.
- Due to limited space, the additional pull-out bed in Bedroom Two will only be set up and linen provided for bookings of four guests. For bookings with three guests or fewer, Bedroom Two will be made up as a single.
- The fireplaces are ornamental only and must not be used.
- As with much of the town centre, the on-street parking is restricted to residents only between 9am and 5pm, but there are also some 2-hour parking bays near the house (subject to availability). Within a 5-minute walk there are two long-stay car parks where you can park all day (London Road and Lyon Street), charges apply and are subject to availability, although we would usually expect spaces to be available at one of these locations. - One infant up to age 2 is welcome in addition to the total guest capacity of this property. 1 travel cot (please bring bedding) and 1 highchair are available on advance request.
