"Due to flight delays we arrived at Zander K at midnight with hopes that the hotel would not be frustrated by our late arrival. To our surprise the front desk was very quick and friendly. Room was small but clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Zander K gets top marks from us. "

"Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is very convenient for walking or catching a train to another part of Bergen. Very close to the university, with plenty of dining options and coffee shops and grocery stores."

"This was the second hotel we stayed at during our 10-day trek through Norway. It was in the PERFECT location for us to walk virtually everywhere, and anywhere that wasn’t close by, transit was super close and we could just hop on the light rail and head off. We only had one full day in Bergen and this was the perfect home base!"

"I booked two nights at the Comfort Hotel in Bergen and was at first put into a room with a tiny window and no way of opening it. After a while, I realised I couldn't turn the aircon off and the wall behind the bed was ever so slightly shaking. At first this didn't bother me but over time, it became more and more disturbing. I felt like I was in the hull of an engine room in a huge ship and I slept terribly that night. The next day, I told reception and they immediately moved me into a lovely room with none of these issues. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I wish it hadn't happened in the first place, but the first night is the only reason why I am not giving this hotel 100%. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms have vegan soap/shampoo, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of vegan options (including different kinds of non-dairy milk and oat-yoghurt). The location is amazing too - it's within easy walking distance of the centre, harbour and ~10 minute walk to get to the tram to take you to the airport. "
