"Theatre stay with daughter. What a wonderful hotel central to town, Resturant’s shopping,. Made perfect by the really nice young staff. Gentleman on reception particularly. Swimming was a bonus. "Easy parking and checking in. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large and modern. The staff that we had dealings with in the bar/restaurant and on reception were helpful, polite, pleasant and engaging. A good experience. "

"Comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children which met our expectations. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early so it was only a brief visit but what we did experience (bar, bed and breakfast) was all very good! In fact breakfast was very, very good!! It was a shame we missed the restaurant as the menu looked delicious, the staff at the hotel suggested alternatives (local pizza delivery service) but at that stage after a long drive we were just happy to have a drink and some bar snacks (crisps) before getting an early(ish) night for the following days!"

"Had a conference for the weekend and it was ideal to stay at the same place. The lunch options were good. The buildings/rooms are a little dated, and given the reason for my stay were fine. I wouldn't book to stay for a relaxing weekend where I'd be making more use of the room"
