"Room was clean except for some stains around the drain in the shower. Despite us hanging our towels up to be reused, they were changed. Good coffee and nice chocolate in the room. Complementary water and milk provided. "

"We had a lovely 5 night stay at the Mad hatter Inn. Very good location. Easy access to Southwark tube station. Close to Borough Market which is a must see. Hotel room was comfortable and very clean. Fair price, especially for London. Nice to have a pub downstairs. Hotel staff very engaging and friendly. Only issue was a faulty electric tea kettle. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others."

"We usually stay at the Hotel Indigo next door, but we have enjoyed our meals at The Blackbird and were interested in trying the accommodations. Overall we were satisfied, but the wall behind the toilet had some dirty drippy looking spots that need to be be cleaned, and the bathroom shade was unattached at the top corner. Other than that, the room was clean and nice, although a bit small. The service at breakfast the next morning was poor. There was only one croissant, and it wasn’t even 9:00...
