"The hotel was clean and well maintained but the furnishings were a bit shabby. The breakfast was well cooked but choices were limited."

"Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking"

"Not a boutique hotel in my view, just a room in a pub."

"Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend"

"👌"

"Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

"Good dinner and wine list, great breakfast offerings, room spacious and nice views…. Charming country hotel. Would stay again"

"We had to move rooms initially as the wall heater had been left on and it was uncomfortably hot, plus there was a really bad smell (although the room looked cean). Hotel staff helpful and assigned new room without any fuss. Main negative is that half the hotel does not appear to have a lift so we had to haul suitcases up and down stairs. The bedsheets were also past their best and the mattress was uncomfortable. The location of the property is great. We spent a day in Oxford...

"قيمة الغرفة مبالغ فيها مقابل خدمات ضعيفة"

"Great location although parking restricted to road"

"The reception was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were great for an old building. It was very conveniently situated and would recommend to others"

"Super location . Good value or money"

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. The evening meal was excellent, in a spacious and well designed area. The location was a good one for the Cotswolds"

"Everything was great and the front desk staff are extremely hospitable and kind."

"Beautiful and quiet hotel with a great atmosphere! The staff is amazing—super friendly and attentive. The pub is so cozy, and the food is great. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! 10/10."
