"Check in was confusing and somewhat disruptive due to booking through Expeida. At first I was told by reception that I had not paid and that I owed the full amount £45.00. I went to my room . About ten minutes later whilst in the bathroom reception knocked on my door and said that I need to contact Expedia to sought the payment, he showed me a contact text on his phone from Expedia. I checked my phone and found the electronic receipt from Expedia stating I had pre paid. I went to reception and...

"Beautiful setting and very welcoming by Sam. Great breakfast and comfortable beds."

"Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area."

"We were travelling with a dog so stayed in a dog-friendly room. Sadly, it smelled badly of wet dog and there was a dirty patch of floor and skirting board in the bathroom which looked like mud at best, or dog mess, at worst. Although we are dog owners, we do like a room that smells nice and that’s cleaned properly."

"Breakfast options good Corridor quite noisy"

"Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...

"Used this as a base for an activity we were doing close by. Was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice to use the restaurant on site. Would definitely stay again."

"Está muy bien y el desayuno muy rico"

"Such a wonderful place to stay, eat & drink. Thank you"

"Homely feel and helpful, friendly host. He was extremely accommodating. The breakfast provided was a lovely bonus. It’s in a great location, central but in a quiet street."

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"

"I was there for 1 night and just used it for a bed for the night"

"returning visitor and will do again - quality yet relaxed great service and food"

"The complimentary drink on arrival was a nice touch. Dinner was superb"
