"I stayed here for one night as was attending a concert at BP pulse which is walking distance. Staff was friendly, really liked the lounge area, breakfast had a good variety. Rooms were good enough, perhaps could have been a little bit longer (I am 6 foot 3!) but overall, an excellent stay with no complaints. Good value for money, and would definitely recommend this hotel if anyone had to go somewhere near by i.e. Birmingham Airport, BP pulse or NEC "

"Train station being close is about the only good thing this place has to offer. You have to make it past the bar with a bunch of rowdy drunks talking trash to you just to check in. Whoever took the pictures for this place deserves a raise. The room is tiny. The mattress is old. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is gross. Was woken up at 2 am by a guy pounding on the door next to us begging someone to let him in. This went on for about 15 minutes the first night. There is no security lock on the door. There’s not a decent place to eat near by. You can stay virtually anywhere else for the same or better price. If you have a family. Absolutely do not stay here. "

"Breakfast was different on both days one day it was self service and then the next was someone serving it. The rooms weren’t quiet you could hear people above and those walking up the stairs late at night. The room we were given was very small even for a standard room and was a little disappointed espically when the sign to our room was Gents toilets which also made it confusing for other guests who tried our door a few times."

"Room was clean, in a very convenient location right between the NEC and city centre, owner was very helpful and friendly explaining everything, very reasonably priced too."
