"Great location to the pleasure beach, really far from town centre so bare that in mind, tram is just across from hotel so not all bad, superb breakfast, little dated decor and could do with a freshen up but it is Blackpool so do not expect the Ritz, would deffo stay here again and free parking"
"Brilliant hosts who were so friendly and helpful, room was spotless and cool despite the heatwave! Beds super comfy too. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!"
"The communications were great and access to the flat was easy with the instructions given. We were fortunate to be able to squeeze onto the last space on the pavement to park. Right on the promenade so not quiet at night but was easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. A plug socket nearer the bedroom mirror for being able to see whilst you do your hair would be fab and bigger mugs for a full size cuppa in the morning. The heaters worked well to warm up the sitting room. The shower could be...

"Food was excellent, entertainment was excellent. The only problem was that the extractor fans for the kitchen were just below our bedroom window, room 330 the noise was terrible and we couldn't close the window as it was too hot so it made the room uncomfortable during the day."
"We had a good stay. The Hotel was very nice. Clean through out. Staff were very good. The breakfast was good too. With lots to choose from. One thing that spoilt it. Was the bed being too firm. We wanted to stay another night. But we was quoted even more than the night we had already paid for. "
"Not our first stay at The Big Blue and won’t be our last.
We had 2 double rooms and both were upgraded to deluxe at check in.
The staff work really hard and are very friendly.
Breakfast is amazing! "
"Whilst the hotel does not offer a lot of rooms, this is how Linda and Tony, the lovely owners, can offer a personal treatment, attention and chats - all of which were very good. All my requests or problems were addressed as soon as possible and for the best.
Breakfasts were amazingly tasty and rich.
Additionally, in my room there were a small refrigerator and a kettle, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder, sugar and milk.
The room and all the public areas were very clean and tidy.
A major plus for me is eco-friendliness - Towels and sheets are replaced only upon request. Otherwise, they are being arranged and made each day while the room is cleaned."
"We were visiting the area for the Lytham Festival. Firstly, the location was excellent, as all the Lytham hotels were fully booked.
Reception staff were helpful and were available 24 hours. The room was comfortable with all we needed. Bathroom and shower were great. Not massive but more than adequate. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, cooked or continental. The main breakfast waitress was extremely efficient, whether it was quiet or busy. We were lucky enough to get the car parked right outside the front door for the duration of our stay. "
"Another fantastic weekend stay at the Headlands. Classic hotel on Blackpool's south shore with easy access to trams and transport links. Cracking cooked breakfast in the morning, and Staff are absolutely first class, friendly and incredibly courteous and helpful. Hotel had everything I needed for my stay over the weekend and I would highly recommend."
