Secluded Private Beachfront Villa on Staniel Cay in Exumas Bahamas

"I can't tell you enough how gracious and fabulous Chet and Brooke (the hosts) are. They welcomed us at the door with freshly baked Sourdough Bread, built a fire for us one night and were incredibly helpful with everything. Wade the manager was fabulous as well navigating any of our requests and queries. As for the property its simply incredible. We were a family of 8 (with a nanny) and everything was perfect. The views spectacular and we kept saying we felt we were on a yacht it was positioned so perfectly. The children spent their days scampering over the rocks and beach picking up shells whilst the adults sat back and gazed out across the beautiful turquoise waters. You simply must stay here if you visit Staniel Cay."

"It was a great location with easy access to the beach. We only had a few people visit the beach while we were there. You can float back and forth with the tides. Plenty of towels in bath. You need a golf cart to access restaurants and the store. You do pass the dump on the way to and from the location and planes go straight over the house to land. I didn’t consider either a negative just informational. I would definitely choose to stay there again. The host responded to all my inquiries in a timely manner."

"Sixth time staying on Staniel Cay, and this house might be our favorite yet for the price and location.We were here June 30 through July 6 with my wife and three daughters, and it was perfect from start to finish.Great location. Incredibly clean. And honestly bigger than it looks in the listing.The pictures don't do it justice.The hosts were about as nice and communicative as it gets. They nailed it every step of the way.We're already looking to rebook for next year.Loved this house. Can't recommend it enough."

"Kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, and bedroom was clean and the pictures in the advertisement is accurate.The aircon kept the house very cool.Location good - very close to Marina.Host was exceptional. Offered us a Golf cart for the duration of our stay and only charged us for days we used it. Host also took us out on his boat, showed us the popular spots and waited where we wanted to snorkel. He was very reasonable with his price.I would most definately recommend Cozy Cottage!"

"The property was as advertised. The property manager was super attentive during our entire stay. It was a great spot to stay with my entire family (total of 10). The house was very spacious and right on the beach. The freshwater pool was great also especially after a day of snorkeling. I would definitely book this house again."
Rum Punch on Staniel Cay

"Rum Punch was as advertised . It’s not fancy, but has everything you need. The A/c in one bed room didn’t work, but was able to be cool enough if all the doors to the other rooms were left open. We particularly enjoyed a few mangoes from their tree. Water pressure in one bath was weak, and you can’t run the washing machine and do dishes/take showers- but allThings that can be worked around."

"If you’re looking for a small island vibe with nice locals, this is the place to be. I had the pleasure of having this stay with Ida and it was a good experience. Communication will be a bit spotty due to service but she will eventually reach back out. Worthwhile to communicate via WhatsApp. Very clean facility with a great view. There is air conditioning in every room and a nice cross breeze if you open up the doors. The town is very small itself, food is a little pricey due to things having to be imported but that’s how it is on the island so don’t expect a sticker shock. If you are looking to island hop, quite easy to get a ride to get to Staniel Cay but there’s also great beaches on this island that are secluded. I only stayed for 1.5 days but would stay for a longer period of time. Nice little break from the real world, do it, you won’t regret it!"
