The location is fantastic, near many wonderful gardens, caves, markets, and restaurants. Beynac is a beautiful village. "Zuerst das Gute: der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Sehr nette Gastgeber, wunderschönes Haus in grandioser Umgebung, Ausblick, Pool und Terrasse top. Küche und die anderen Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, aller Komfort vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Zwei Dinge sind verbesserungswürdig: die Couch hat völlig ausgedient, durchgesessen bis auf das Gestell, die Kissen müsste man immer wieder aufschütteln, was wir uns nicht getraut haben, da man sonst erstickt vor lauter Staub. Und zweitens...

"The cottage at Le Maine was absolutely breathtaking! Surrounded by forest and flowers each morning was like waking up in a dream. My husband, baby and I enjoyed early morning walks to the village bakery only 10 minutes away, evening swims in the stunning pool and playing in the garden with the chickens. Catherine and Max are amazing hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend!!!"

"Mark and Sylvie have created a beautiful life in Rouffignac, and have masterfully renovated two older traditional stone houses into very comfortably modernized gîtes that maintain the character and charm of the past. There is a great number of activities to do in the immediate region. Even with ten days there is still so much more we would have liked to enjoy."

"A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! Guillaume was very helpful both in the run up to our arriving and if we had any queries when we were there. Belves is a lovely town with good shops and plenty to see and can all be done on foot. One cautionary note for UK...

"Le Hibou Horeaux is a beautiful and well maintained property. The garden is large, beautiful, and private. The outdoor dining, pool, and grill area were perfect for us. The home is thoughtfully designed and very comfortable in the details (e.g. screens on the windows). Location is fantastic, we enjoyed biking, hiking, canoeing, and the many restaurants and small towns in the area."

"We have just returned from a wonderful week at this beautiful house. The house is spotless and mr and madam Delmon have thought of everything needed for a stay. The grounds of the house are amazing with so much space... brilliant for our dog! The hot tub was great although due the extremely hot weather we had it as a cool tub. It is only a five minute walk to the village restaurant which did a fantastic lunch. It was beyond our expectations and we would recommend to others."
