"Have stayed before and enjoyed this time again, The food was excellent as always and our requests were taken care of no issues. I noticed a few tiles missing out the pool which was not consistent with the rest of the Hotel. The pool bar staff were quite grumpy and ignorant- this may not have been intentional but chatting with colleagues whist serving customers is rude and slows down the already very slow Barcelo process for ordering a beer! Noticed the gym has new kit which was a nice surprise as it had been poor for a couple of years."

"Food was wonderful! Rooms were slightly dated and could use a coat of paint. Staff were extremely courteous. Entertainment was delightful. Overall grounds were lovely. Right on the beach."

"This is a good property overall and it's good value for money...The kitchen perhaps needed a toaster (not a 'cheese & ham toastie maker' in the style of a Breville which is what's there, but a normal toaster for toasting slices of bread. The kitchen was clean & included washing up liquid which was helpful. The location is great but we did struggle to find good maps of Fuengirola, unable to get our hands on one until day 3 at the Tourist Information Desk close to the port. A map left in the flat would have therefore been helpful & also, if the girl in the office downstairs had made herself known to us it'd have also been good. As it was I had to ask if she was the girl I'd been emailing during booking & she then confirmed that she was, but this was only after we'd passed by her twice already! A nice flat tho', abit dark coming up the stairs & then outside so maybe some lights triggered by sensors will be the new thing for 2026. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Yves' apartment. the access was uncomplicated and communication with Ana brilliant. It was homely, cozy and gave us everything we needed. We got used climbing 4th floor, not so great with the suitcases but we managed. The apartment is so central to everywhere we went and this was a big plus for us. Next door a smaller supermarket and fruit & vegetable shop, 5 minutes away a bigger supermarket. We didn't miss a thing other than maybe a tea towel which we gladly brought with us. The terrace is great and we used it daily. The beds are very comy and bedrooms at night very quiet located to the back. We slept like babies. We didn't mind the delivery drivers in the road (as somebody commented), in the end it is a very central location and for that it was a relatively quiet location. We liked it a lot and would book again. Thanks Yves and Ana"
