Namu Cabin is a wonderful retreat, providing truly the perfect mix of cozy and modern. Our newly renovated space includes new flooring, updated bathrooms, and fresh decor throughout the cabin. We love spending time relaxing out in the hot tub, and warming up next to the fire after an exciting day on the lake or hitting the hiking trails. Namu (나무) means “tree” in Korean, and we want you to experience the calm of being surrounded by nature while providing the small details that make you feel like you are truly at home. Welcome to Namu Cabin!
PRIMARY BEDROOM: California King size bed with walk-in closet and direct access to the backyard and hot tub. En-suite bathroom attached. Dedicated private desk workstation. Sleeps 2.
BEDROOM 2: Features a Queen bed, and Twin bunk bed. Sleeps 4.

BATHROOM 1 (PRIMARY): En-suite primary bathroom with double sinks, shower+tub combo, and private toilet room.
BATHROOM 2: Guest bathroom with single vanity and shower+tub combo.
* Our bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash by eco-friendly Public Goods. Bath towels, hand towels, and makeup towels also included.
LIVING ROOM: Spacious living area with large screen TV, two couches, and bay window bench seating. Floor to ceiling wood fireplace. Kids books and toys stowed in baskets and bench cabinets to keep the little ones entertained.
KITCHEN: Open concept kitchen flows seamlessly to the living room and dining room. Fully stocked with pots & pans, dinnerware, and utensils (including chopsticks!). Kid-friendly plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Wide variety of kitchen appliances including toaster, blender, waffle maker, air fryer, and Cuckoo rice cooker all your cooking needs.
Expansive breakfast island provides ample additional countertop space and seating.
DINING: Large table with seating for 6, access to backyard. Additional breakfast island seating for 5.
LAUNDRY: Washer & dryer located in laundry room. Iron & ironing board.
GAME ROOM: Air hockey, lounge sofa and TV, board games & puzzles.
OUTDOORS: Hot tub, propane BBQ Grill, outdoor seating, and string lights to set the mood. Spa towels provided (please do not take off property).

You can park in the garage or in the driveway, but there is no street parking allowed. 3 cars max allowed at the property. Level driveway for easy access especially during the winter months.
Entering the game room: You will need to enter through the main garage door and you can take the internal door to go up the stairs to the game room.

This is an upscale neighborhood that is the hidden gem of Big Bear Lake with a ton of areas for free sledding and trails for hiking and biking all around us. It is the perfect location without the crowds but close enough to be within a short distance of every major attraction in Big Bear Lake. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is only 2 minutes away at .7 miles! Bring your boards and skis!!
Free Big Bear Trolley:
Mountain Transit's Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.
Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.
Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.
NO SHOES INSIDE: We are a strict no-shoes home. We have young children and want to keep a clean environment on our floors & rugs for our family and future guests. Please welcome yourself to our complimentary slippers!
NO PETS: Owners have severe allergies, we thank you for understanding that no pets of any kind are allowed. The fee is $1,000 for violation if pets are brought onto the property.
NO SMOKING INSIDE: We have a very strict no smoking inside policy. The fee is a $1500 violation and we are VERY STRICT ON THIS.
CHAINS: Chains are required at all times during winter season. Guests are responsible for checking the weather forecast and road restrictions.
To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.
If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.
Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.
(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged.
(8) Hot Tub – No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund.
(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.
(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.
(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time.
