"Fabulous hotel to relax and explore the Cairns area. Plenty to enjoy on resort and food offerings are great value with good sized portions. We travelled in winter and there are covered walkways between most of the buildings to keep you dry in rain. Great sized family pool with big screen showing kids programs"

"This is an old hotel, built around 45 years ago but with beautiful sea views and it's being refurbished. It doesn't feature the latest amenities in your room, but it tries hard. A couple of things would add to the room experience like a coffee maker, extra pillows and an improved TV with Internet."
