"Lovely old hotel, opposite the railway station. Plenty of parking available if needed. A short walk to the shops. The staff were all friendly. The hotel was very well presented, making the most of the old features, whilst keeping a modern feel. The bed was comfortable, but had to untick the duvet from the bottom of the bed, to pull it up around my shoulders, as the top of it finished too low down the bed . Nice touch with tea/coffee in the room. Was a bit awkward to plug my hairdryer/straighteners in as I had to crawl under the desk for the socket. Hand wash, body wash, body lotion available in the bathroom. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms. Breakfast was delicious. My husband had a freshly cooked English breakfast which had a choice or white or brown bread and I had a yoghurt and granola bowl, with berries and peach slices, honey , garnished with a small pansy flower and petals. Beautifully presented, an ample amount and extremely tasty! A lovely hotel, would definitely recommend"

"Great location! Room was a very nice size and quite comfortable. Vintage room had lots of character as well as the entire hotel. We stayed for the breakfast and it was quite good, fresh pastries were amazing. The hotel staff did excellent considering they were obviously understaffed for the morning rush!"

"Room at the top was great loads of room. Food and drinks were amazing. The only place in Lyme Regis to do decent wine everyone else are just the usual suspects. Breakfast was very good. Decent car park. All the staff were lovely"

"The overall experience was that if a relaxing stay. The staff were welcoming , pleasant surroundings in the hotel communal areas: the terrace, the pool, the dining room. However we did feel the room we stayed in was a little tired and in need of a refurb. The chair cushions were stained; the bathroom was a little tired in need of a refresh; the internal windows needed a deep clean."
