"Great hotel just off the main shopping street in Berlin, Kurfürstendamm. It's fairly easy to get to by public transport from the Brandenburg Airport - we took the S-Bahn line 9 from Terminal 2 to the Zoologischer Garten station and then walked for about 12 minutes to the hitel. Being in a central location, the hotel is near a variery of dining options, cafés, transport, shopping and sights in the western city centre. Kaiser Wilhelm I Memorial Church is jusr 5 min away on foot. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, with a design referencing the Art Nouveau style of its Charlottenburg neighbourhood. We had the "Roomy" room - spacious, quiet, with very comfortable bedding, large bathroom with shower etc. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We'd stay again at this hotel on our next visit. "

"Nice hotel only a few blocks south of the famous Checkpoint Charlie crossing of the Berlin Wall. There are two U-bahn stations within walking distance. Rooms were small but clean and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful (albeit with typical German directness)."

"This property is perfect for those who want to be right near the main attractions of berlin with budget in mind. you can walk left from the hotel and see Checkpoint Charlie, or walk right to even more tourist destinations in the area. the staff and service was very nice and pleasant to be around. If I was to go back to berlin I would choose this hotel."

"The Scandic was a great choice. The hotel is in a great location close to everything and easily accessible from the U2 metro. Having arrived early, the hotel held our bags whilst we went out, on return check in was easy and the staff pleasant. The room was very clean and had tea/coffee facilities and complementary water. There a a number of café, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, very happy with the hotel and location and would definitely stay again on a return to Berlin."
