"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again."

"This was a very nice location and lodging. The place was clean, quiet and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with any type of cooking devise you could possibly need. Also, providing coffee and teas was very much appreciated. Auch technisch ist sie auf den Stand der Zeit mit W-Lan und drei Fernsehern/Multimediastationen und sogar ein Drucker ist vorhanden.Was auch vorhanden ist, ist eine Informationsmappe über die Wohnung mit Bedienungsanleitungen und Ausflugsvorschlägen. Wir waren mit der Ferienwohnung sehr zufrieden und haben sie als Basis für Ausflüge in der Gegend genutzt. Bad Säckingen ist sehenswert. Vielen Dank"

"Overall a nice property that was presented as clean and welcoming with a nice touch of coffee pods and a bottle of wine on arrival. Although the bedding was unlike that we have used previously we did get a good nights sleep for the 9 days stay that we booked. Nice to have a parking space for our motorcycle in an underground garage although the garden pictures were not accurate - due to the drought conditions and the fact that the building is undergoing renovations and there were building materials lying around! I took a star off our review as there was no microwave as advertised - this did not bother us but others may be disappointed. The only other issue we had was with the keys - the garage door entrance did not always unlock so we used the back door a lot. The apartment door also has to be pulled closed to allow the key to unlock the door - a trick we took a couple of days to work out. The apartment is a 10 - 15 minutes walk down to the town with its shops and restaurants - and a pedestrian bridge across the river to Switzerland. There are large supermarkets about a 15 -20 minute walk away - we would recommend the 1st floor restaurant at Schmidts. The only thing I believe the apartment could benefit from is a "Welcome" book with information about the local area viz swimming pools, shops, restaurants, places to visit etc. although there is a Tourist information office in town!"
