"After 3 nights in the Porcupine Wilderness the Bobcat Cabin was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Its simplicity and self-reliance makes it the perfect nature getaway. We were there when it rained and the hosts have made it the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a midday nap. They were also very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the nearby trails. We loved waking up to the sound of loons on the water and enjoying our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. The sunsets here are simply breathtaking—every night felt like a postcard!Everything we could have needed was provided—comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and even a fire pit for s’mores under the stars. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
