"I had to book a hotel at last minute so I booked near Gare de Lyon. Hence the stay here. Not cheap and not the nicest place but room was ok. The best was the bathtub. If you are coming to Paris for a vacation I would stay in a different area. There are plenty of hotels nearer the attractions etc at this price level. The staff were nice."

"The hotel was very good, but with a four-star rating I would have expected a few minor things that would have made changed my rating of 'very good' to 'excellent'. In all 4 star (and most 3 star) hotels that I have stayed in they have an ironing board and iron in each room as standard - not so in Novotel Bercy though they can be supplied once requested. Also, some milk or creamer for the (supplied) coffee maker would be helpful. We didn't avail of the breakfast buffet - at €21 p.p. that seemed...
