"We went away for a long weekend break. We had a fantastic time! The hotel is absolutely lovely. Great location within walking distance of the centre Oxford along the river. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant one Friday evening and the food was great and beautifully presented. The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing and that made our stay extra special. In particular, the head waiter/manager in the restaurant went out of his way to help. Highly recommend...

We received conflicting information about the cost and availability of some services. "The room was good. Bed very comfortable and generally clean. Room 007 has a fridge which was nice. Bathroom clean and fully functional. Could have done with another handrail near soap dispenser to aid getting out of bath as Im a little unsteady on feet after leg injury a few years ago. Could hear people moving around upstairs, especially first night - thought it was a herd of elephants and that they were going to come through ceiling. Quiet room apart from that. They don't service the rooms...

"We had a two night stay. The hotel could do with some revamping, as some areas were looking a bit tired. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, and seemed to like working there.
