"Staff were super helpful and very attentive. The superior room we booked was gorgeous, really modern yet still cosy with a gorgeous balcony looking over the city. The bathroom was lovely and had a very good, powerful shower. The included breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide range to suit all tastes and diets. The metro (red), tram (yellow), and bus (blue) Astoria stops are all right by the hotel, so it’s fairly easy to access transportation. The hotel is a bit weathered. It’s still a nice facility overall, but it does show its age. Budapest is often hot, and the AC, in general, isn't really very good - at least to American standards. "This was one of the best hotel stays I have experienced in my life (and I traveled regularly for work, have stayed in smaller boutique hotels and larger chains). Excellent location.
