"Another comfortable stay at the cozy cottage. We used it as a "base camp" and mainly slept there. Good access to Stonington, Acadia and then a day south to New Harbor and Pemaquid exploring our favorite places. Charming little place!"

I lived in Freedom ME in 1975-77 & it wasn't much to write home about. Now it's a great place to go...galleries, restaurants, bakeries, shops, it's very cool & beautiful. Lots of interesting architecture & right on the ocean.

Just a fun little town to walk thru and around. Pretty harbor and a rail trail ifnyou wish for a longer walk. Very ecletic town and shops.
