"The apartment is in a great location, very central, and it was clean. However, you do pay for what you get. It was a good price, so perhaps we should not have been surprised to find that it was in need of maintenance. There was some dodgy-looking electrics, no basic handsoap, no towel rings for hanging a hand towel near a sink, damaged walls etc. Overall, it made it feel cheap, and.... edgy. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"Had a great time. Came in specifically for the Teddy Swims Concert at TRIX Zaal - the how was great. People in the area were extremely helpful. Stayed off the tourist grid pretty much and saw a lot of beautiful things. Owner has a guidelines book for guests that was absolutely awesome."
