"I stayed with my adult son for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The suite consisted of two rooms, one with a double sofa bed which was ideal. Everything about the stay was exactly what we needed, it was clean, comfortable with good food. The highlight was definitely the staff who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."

"Landlord and staff were really friendly, professional and helpful. We are looking to move to Dorset and the Landlord was excellent giving us some useful tips sharing his experiences since moving to Dorset himself some years earlier. Evening meal and breakfast were also excellent. We will certainly be going back."
