Situated within 16 acres of private pastures and tranquil woodland, this barn conversion is a delightful retreat for four guests. A cosy wood burner, relaxing wood-fired hot tub and fantastic play area all offer something different while the location, deep in the heart of rural Devon, provides access to a wide range of walks and cycle routes, including Dartmoor National Park. Take advantage of the four adult bikes, left available to guests by the owners!

Tranquil Devon countryside surrounds the single-storey accommodation, accessed via a few stone steps up to the front door. The interior is wonderfully light and welcoming, with the lounge/diner area home to a wood burner, comfortable seating and French doors leading outside. There are two bedrooms here, two doubles, one with a zip and link option while the patio at the rear of the property is a lovely place to engage guests. Take a seat on the table and chairs, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a drink before dipping into the woodfired hot tub for a relaxing soak, complete with countryside views. You will also have access to a paddock, ideal for playing games, as well as a covered barn area with swings, pool table, air hockey and exercise equipment.

Bring your comfortable shoes as you’ll be surrounded by miles upon miles of wonderful walking routes. Join the Tarka Trail cycling and walking path at Meeth, 5.5 miles away, or head south 14 miles to Dartmoor National Park, where you’ll find a landscape of tors, valleys and forests. You won’t be far away from the market town of Holsworthy (13 miles), where you can enjoy a spot of shopping, or head 20 miles west to Bude for coastal walks and beaches.
