"This was a great hotel! Perfect walking distance to Max train and the food truck depot. Also very nice restaurant nearby. The room was clean and staff were friendly. The morning breakfast could have been better but over I’d definitely stay at this property again. "

"Just a quick trip to Portland for an appointment. This is an interesting place with a lot of history to it. I always feel like I need to dust at McMenamins since there decor is so dim. The property is well maintained and I’m sorry I’ll miss the gardens in bloom. However I would not stay here in the spring or summer because of the traffic noise. Really really loud. The spa is lovely, make sure to make reservations in advance. Food is the same as every other McMenamins. "

"The breakfast is very good. Nice pool, sauna, jaquizzi. The queen bed in our first room was very uncomfortable and made my hips hurt, but moved to a king size room with newer bed and it was comfortable "
