"This was my second stay at Hotel Clique. My first visit was for work, and after having such a great experience, I decided to stay again when travelling through Calgary with my family. It did not disappoint! Our two young children absolutely loved all the fun touches in the room, especially the lights under the beds and the TV in the bathroom. The rooftop hot tubs were another huge hit, and having robes provided made it feel extra special. The hotel is modern, comfortable and such a fun place to stay. I highly recommend Hotel Clique and will definitely be staying here again whenever we’re in Calgary!"

"We believe this property recently changed ownership. At the moment, it is discounted - appropriately so. Front desk staff started talking to each other (non-English or French) while one was checking me in. Waitress in the bar was kind and good intentioned but beer selection was very limited and was strongly suggesting what beer my husband should order. She was obviously unfamiliar with beer. Forgot to bring our tab when requested, then brought the wrong one. She did bring us complimentary fries and fresh parm bread which was excellent. The burgers were quality beef but very over salted. The room was a great size and bed and linens were okay. The bathroom had a small bottle of conditioner but no shampoo. Shower and towels were good but bathroom sink was a disaster! Hairline cracks everywhere made it look like a spider's web - quite unappealing. Would I stay here again - yes, fair value but I suspect, and hope, the new owners would undertake some staff training and some facility upgrades. We did not use any other facilities (eg pool) as you pay extra for those. (We were in room 241.)"

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is not bad at all, although it is not centrally located in downtown Calgary. It is still within a reasonable distance of popular areas and attractions such as Stephen Avenue walk and Calgary Tower. One of the things we really enjoyed was that it was within walking distance of several food options, including our favorite, Taste of Yemen. The room size was decent and comfortable. We didn’t get to use many of the hotel’s amenities because we were out exploring all day and mainly used the room for sleeping. The bed was comfortable, and there were enough pillows, which made for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was excellent! There was a good variety of options, and the breakfast area was spacious, making it comfortable to enjoy our meal without feeling crowded. The elevator experience was also pretty good during our stay. It was not crowded, probably because there were fewer guests at the time we visited. Parking is paid, but the rate was reasonable considering the hotel is in downtown Calgary. Overall, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again."
