The Royal Lion Hotel

"Great location in the heart of the town. Parking in the Royal Lions own car park can be a little tight but a space was always available. Our room was spotless and well stocked with tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast was good, plant based options on offer. Staff were helpful and friendly. At times it seemed like the hotel were short of personnel. Overall a great stay would definitely return."

"Even though the room was very warm I still had an amazing time. Previously when we have been to Weymouth for a short break we stay at the Premier Inn. This was definitely alot better, and the staff so much friendlier and I could open the window alot wider, so during the evening and night you could hear the waves crashing onto the shore. Just cross the road and you're on the beach. Its within walking distance to the shops. We stayed for 3 nights so ate there in the evening. I can recommend the rack of ribs, but all of the food was amazing, and reasonably priced. There's alot going on each evening, as well as during the day. Already thinking about booking for next year again."

"We had to move rooms as the first one was too small. The staff were very helpful and moved us into a lovely spacious room. There was plenty to eat at breakfast with a good choice of hot or cold buffet food."
