"What a smashing hotel. From start to finish our stay was so enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful both on reception and in the bar and eating areas. We booked the Club room for our stay. It was spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed and a great monsoon shower. We had breakfast included in our 2 night stay and it was absolutely worth it. Plenty to choose from and the cooked breakfast was delicious, good quality produce. Walk out the doors and over the bridge and you're there to all the shops, bars and the wonderful York Minster. A great hotel and we'll definitely stay here again. 10/10"

"Lovely welcome from the girl on reception. We had a king sized room on 3rd floor looking out to Cliffords tower. Room was clean and comfortable with a coffee maker which made amazing coffee. There is a large carpark across the road which is free midnight till 8 but expensive at orher times but on par with other parking in york. There is a park and ride stop close by. Breakfast was one of the best ive ever had in a hotel. All staff helpful and friendly. Close to shops and many restaurants. Ideal location "
