"Host was very helpful and accommodating for our stay at the mermaid house, house was clean, welcoming and very well situated on the river to do a lot of manatee and boater watching, beds were very comfortable. All in all this was a great stay for us trqveling from seattle to weeki wachee. "

"This was a great place to stay. The porch overlooking the river was my favorite place to hang out when I wasn’t in a kayak on the river. We saw manatees swim by, fish jumping in the river and dolphins swam by one of the days. Host is very helpful and house was clean and well stocked with essentials. Beds were comfy too. "

The view of the river from the large windows on the second floor was beautiful. We saw many manatees right in front of the dock. We utilized the kayaks and explored the water which was very clear. At night we used the fire pit and relaxed and fished off the dock. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved this little piece of paradise! Went kayaking and saw a manatee in Hospital Hole, fished, cooked over the fire, and enjoyed our stay! It is a small but well thought out space with everything we needed supplied! Even some bait in the freezer in the shed! Such a great tiny home for our small family with two young kiddos.
