"Our experience at Excellence Punta Cana was enjoyable overall, especially thanks to the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay fun and memorable. Their positive attitudes and great service truly stood out and were one of the highlights of the trip. The resort itself has a lot of potential, but it does appear to be in need of some updates and maintenance. Several areas of the property are starting to show their age, including missing pool tiles, worn areas around the resort, and rooms that feel outdated with some visible damage. A refresh of the facilities would really elevate the overall experience and help the resort match the quality of its service. The food was good overall, with plenty of options and something for everyone. While not every meal was perfect, we were generally happy with the variety and quality throughout our stay. In the end, the staff made a lasting impression and helped make our vacation a great experience. With some property improvements and updates, Excellence Punta Cana could be an even more exceptional resort."

"The resort is attractive, well maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and hardworking. We never had a bad interaction, and service throughout was very good. The beach is spacious with plenty of chairs available, so we never had to reserve early for our family of five. The ocean was warm and great for swimming, but the water wasn’t the clear turquoise shown in photos due to a lot of sargassum (seaweed). They do work to clean it, but it can be heavy at times. Pools were nice overall. The adult pools were much quieter and more relaxing, while the family pools could get quite loud during the day. Food was good with lots of buffet and restaurant options, but labeling at the buffet needs improvement, as many items were unclear or missing labels. Also, the buffet floor became very slippery after cleaning, so be careful. Our villa was clean and comfortable, but not all buildings have elevators, so upper floors require carrying luggage upstairs. Some areas do have elevators, but it depends on location. We also had a broken doorknob that was reported multiple times but never fixed, and one room service order was never delivered. Overall, we had a great family vacation. Despite a few issues, the friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, warm beach, and easy access to seating made it enjoyable."

"All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the good part that they speak English so it was so easy for me to communicate because I didn’t know Spanish. If it was up to me I’ll give it 20 out of 10. Everything was beautiful amazing and I love every minute that I spend there, I will definitely go back."
