The location is great, the auberge is in a village which feels very secluded because of the surrounding forest but is in reality perfectly placed as a staging post to or from southern France. On both the outward and home legs of our drive we were warmly received, rapidly booked in and quickly settled into our comfortable rooms. "Nicholas was very accommodating. The town lost water for a few hours during the stay but everything was goo."

"Really lovely couple that runs this place. As noted other guests complaint that you can't check in after 9:30pm we got there well in advance and had no problem. Just as a heads up there is NO LIFT so be forewarned if you have heavy bags. Also it is not allowed to sit outside and drink a bottle of wine as the veranda is part of the restaurant. This is too bad as they have quite a nice garden."
