An amazing bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two and shower with rain shower feature and heated slate floor.The host found a bracelet we had left and sent it to us at no cost. "This was our first vacation in three years. We had a bucket list if things to do and coming "home" (vrbo) to a beautiful, quiet, relaxing, clean and spacious home was wonderful!! Everything we needed was there for meals prepping, laundry, and our daily fueling of coffee!! Beds were comfy, the hot tub was clean and spacious. The porch with chairs and view while listening to the morning birds and watching the deer was breathtaking!! All good things to say! So many delightful details! Fresh flowers at the table, local treats upon arrival. It felt very personal and very thoughtful. "

"The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is excellent. It is a small area on each floor, but everything is very well laid out and we didn't feel cramped at all. Everything we needed was there...coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, washer\dryer and all utensils we required. The location of the house is right across the street from the Fox Hollow trail which was great. It is a popular trail and well worth the trek. Also, it has some decent smallmouth bass fishing and there is a great pool for it roughly 5 minutes down the trail. I caught about a 2 pounder on our last day there and it put up a great fight...it was released unharmed. There is also a charcoal grill which we used just about every day as I enjoy grilling. If you want to eat out there are MANY places in the area to go so you definitely will not go hungry. For shopping we mainly used Weis on Willow Street...nicely stocked, but there are many places to shop in the area. Not far away either...15 minutes. Highly recommend Appel Butchers...we got great NY Strip steaks and T-bones from there and the Coffee Bacon is AWESOME!!!!!! Also, the smoked kielbasa!So many historical places to visit in the immediate area and Gettysburg is only about an hour and 15 minutes away...worth it. Our favorite in the area was President Buchanan's Wheatland. The tour was great, and the history was as well.Tom and Amanda...Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. We had a great and relaxed stay. We will be back!"

"Adorable house, great for the 3 of us. Location was perfectly in between the two mud sales that we attend each year. We got a last minute dog sitter so we were able to book the last minute trip. The owner’s were accommodating to our late arrival (I had to work the day we left due to the last minute decision to travel). We loved the cute note, cookies, and informational book with things to do and places to go that was left to greet us. Hopefully next time we’ll have a longer stay to enjoy the area more (including the swing set). Unfortunately, it had rained very heavily, so we didn’t get to try it out, although, it was a great addition to the property. We also were slightly mortified that we checked out later than expected due to a diaper disaster w/our 2 1/2 year old (after the entire car was packed up and we were walking out we had to unpack it and change her…I guess we should just be glad it happened prior vs. on the long drive home) otherwise, all went well…thank you again for your hospitality! "

"Family stay in the cottage which is directly behind the main B&B. It was very clean and provided privacy. There is a Big backyard with swing and playset. Also a fire pit area. The B&B is in a residential area just outside of town. A little noisy but overall safe. Note: There were Lower ceilings in cottage bathroom. "

"We were there for a wedding at Drumore Estates which was only 15 minutes away. We were able to eat at the atrached Brickhouse restaraunt. It was very good food and the noise was minimal. I slept through the morning rush. The bedroom sizes were very big with their own a/c units. It was cool and comfortable. I would stay again"

"This property is exactly as the pictures show. Absolutely beautiful. Host is very very responsive and super quick to help. Not at all overbearing. Stayed an entire week and loved every minute. Had 6 adults and an 11 year old. Relatively close to all attractions but out of the way and quiet. Love the chickens!!"
