Bath is a photographer's dream. There is dramatic beauty in the grand and elegant curved stone facades and this second floor apartment for four, in an imposing Georgian house at the end of a circular segment of The Circus, has timeless views.

The Circus, built between 1754 and 1768 is a masterpiece of John Wood the Elder, with tiers of Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns and intriguing carved emblems, topped with noble stone acorn finials. You can admire it all in detail from the comfort of the living room.

This contemporary apartment, in a warm palate of chocolate, plum and biscuit throughout, has undergone several transformations in its lifetime yet has retained all its period charm. The large living and dining room with sash windows overlooking two aspects of The Circus has two French style velvet sofas by a decorative fireplace. There is a TV with Blue Ray DVD and a separate radio with I-pod docking. A dining table seats four and a French style dresser contains crockery, cutlery and a selection of novels, films and games.

The neat fitted period kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

A large mirrored lobby before the bedrooms has fitted wardrobes and shelving. The spacious and comfortable master room has twin beds in a large alcove that zip and link to become a 6' bed. Here also is a fitted wardrobe, a dressing table with storage and a tallboy. A radio/alarm with I-pod docking is provided.

The second room snugly fits two single beds and a small chest of drawers. There is a magnificent view of The Assembly rooms and handsome Georgian terraces. Further storage is amply provided in the lobby.

The contemporary bathroom has smart cappuccino coloured tiling and contains a small double ended bath with shower over, a hand basin with lots of storage under and a WC.

We really enjoyed our stay in this super-comfortable apartment in a beautiful and convenient location. Quiet, warm and a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Bath. It actually surpassed our expectations and was better than the pictures show. Thanks for having us.

A beautiful place to stay, roomy, well situated and well appointed. Full of thoughtful touches to make our stay more comfortable, including a blissful soaking tub and no shortage of hot water. Walking distance to the bus and train stations. The only drawback is the stairs - if you have decreased mobility, there are 48 steps to go up between the front door and your flat, which can be daunting at the end of a long day. On the whole, an excellent rental, highly recommended.

This property is perfectly located. It does need a little tlc but is overall nice. For Americans: 2nd floor in UK is actually 3rd floor for us. This means a lot of stairs. No lift. Parking was easy. No big complaints but it really needs a good scrub and a little regular maintenance. No air conditioning, if that's an issue for you. We opened the windows and that was enough for us.

The flat is as pictured and the location was incredible. It was clean and well maintained. There was a binder with lots of good information about the area and the flat. The beds were comfortable. We were provided a little goody basket with food to tide us over until we found a grocery. The greeter worked with us to find a convenient time to meet and show us around. The whole city is just beautiful. We did not have a car and did feel like we needed one. It added to the whole experience just being in this wonderful landmark. We ate at many restaurants on our trip and all were in walking distance (The Boston Tea Party, Chandos Deli, Salathai, Jamuna, Sally Lunn, Scoffs). We did the Abbey Tour, a tour of the Roman Baths, and did a 2 hour walking tour of the area. We also met the Lion Tour company for a tour of Lacock Village and Stonehenge. My family and I would highly recommend this flat.

We were a family of 3 and thoroughly enjoyed the Circus House apartment. It was a great size with lots of room for us to move around in. Discovering the Circus and surrounding areas of Bath was a great way to spend our first 3 days in England. There were some lovely supplies to get us started on our holiday in the kitchen and Sarah was there to greet us when we arrived. If you are arriving by train and have some luggage we would recommend taking a cab to the apartment as it is up hill and then it's up a couple flights of stairs to the apartment. The view from the windows is spectacular if you enjoy looking at the Georgian architecture! We would definitely come back to the Circus House if staying in Bath again. If you are looking for a good tour company in Bath we HIGHLY recommend Max Max Tours. We did 2 days of tours that included Stonehenge, Lacock, Castle Combe, Glastonbury, Avebury, Wells and Cheddar Gorge. The drivers were also our tour guides and they provided lots of historical references along the way and dropped off in the centre of town and picked us up there too. All in all we had a great time at Circus House!

This is a delightful place to stay! We could not recommend it more! We were 4adukts visiting Bsth from Washington, D.C. the apartment was perfectly located for walking around Bath. It was clean, comfortable, and very stylish. It was up to date and had everything we could possibly need. Sara was easy to work with and patiently waited for us when a bit of traffic delayed our arrival. We were able to walk to everything! We highly recommend this apartment! Thank you!

Back to Bath for daughter's graduation so know the city pretty well. The apartment is in a fantastic location in the circus with great views. Short walk in to the shops and restaurants. Apartment well furnished - welcome pack a bonus and much appreciated. Even managed to get parking very close by. Would certainly stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. Not ideal for older people as there are quite a lot of stairs to get to apartment!!

Was greeted by a very friendly host who made us feel welcomed. The flat is beautiful, beds are comfortable, and kitchen is well-equipped. One negative is it does take a long time to get hot water in the bathroom. They have a note in the bathroom about this but it really would be nice if they could get the hot water situation improved. Oh, and they give you a parking permit so you can park nearby...for free! Were worried that it would be noisy being on The Circus. It was not noisy, we slept beautifully. Was super fun seeing the "tourists" walking around The Circus while we were "locals" staying right there in this historic area.

Located right at the Circus many major sights are within walking distance. The flat is well equipped with plenty of tableware, comfortable beds and new furniture. Unfortunately the warm water supply is poor and all doors squeak. The traditionally styled windows are difficult to handle.

We had a great time in Bath and truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and cozy flat. It has amazing views and is very clean and comfortable indeed. Close walking distance to everything. We felt right at home from the very first moment and are already looking forward to coming back. A true home away from home! (Only minus is that we don´t want to leave...) Big thanks for everything! Can also recommend Cavendish cooks, a local company providing lovely homecooked meals. Excellent in every way. Daniel, London

We had a lovely week in the Circus House Apartment. The location is excellent; we walked to all attractions and shops. The apartment itself is very well decorated and maintained. The agent was very professional and helpful. She even gave us a parking permit which was very handy as parking in Bath is very difficult and expensive. It is on the third floor so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
