"Close to Cardiff airport - 5 min by taxi. Restaurant has good food at reasonable price. Bus service to Cardiff. We stayed there when we arrived in Cardiff plus when we departed. Property is well kept and rooms were 3 star as reported. All good for a one night stay."

We stayed at The Fox and Hounds because we wanted to spend a day in Barry Island. It’s a taxi drive back and forth but worth it. The beach’s are beautiful and the coastal walk very fun. Pretty empty in October and cool but good time to go.

Was only there for the night, so I did not visit Barry. Very convenient access from the train stop and to the airport in Cardiff.
