"Of all of the rentals we have ever stayed in, this was the best outfitted. Not only were there games, puzzles, and books, but the kitchen had all of the gadgets you could want. There were plenty of plush towels and pillows. We will rent again!"
Nassawadox Creek Waterfront Home with Private Pool

"The property was amazing. You couldn't find a more relaxing, beautiful or tranquil spot. The house was great, very clean and full of amenities. We cooked almost every meal home and the host has every tool/item you could ask for. The pool was the highlight of my son's vacation and it is great. Goes from 3ft for younger swimmers to a soft sloping deep end. The walls are angled for swimmers learning as well. The deck and space provided in the backyard is amazing, mostly shaded for hot days but enough sun for those who want it. The area cannot be anymore relaxing, the views of this place are amazing. The sunsets/sunrises on tdock are immaculate. We caught a full moon at night and it was beautiful. The host communication was great. Had some trouble with the WiFi and she walked us right through in minutes of sending a message. If you are looking to relax and have a 'lazy'cation as my little guy put it, grab this if available."

"The view was great and the room would have been great also, except there were hardly any paper products, there was a queen size bed instead of a king size (the host has corrected this error on their listing). The location was fantastic. Really just need a king size bed for my 6'6" hubby, especially on our early anniversary trip :("

"The location & view were everything and we quite satisfied w that. On the flip side these were our observations-*Flower beds sadly overgrown and whole yard needs a good trim. *Brick path to hot tub needs attention, or just removed*Window unit in sunroom completely rusted & unusable. Should be removed before someone gets hurt. *Long hairs inside refrigerator and freezer*Internet connection was unstable so Roku reception was intermittent *Fireplace unit in sunroom interferes with the view and makes the room too crowded. Should be moved or removed since it's all about the view from that room. *Take an UMBRELLA or Canopy so you'll have shade!!! None are provided."

Sea Salt Cottage: Your Tranquil Getaway 3 min to beach

"The cottage was perfect. Close to town and the beach as well as Kiptopeke State Park, where we enjoyed a long morning of hiking. The grocery store was also only minutes away which was perfect for last minute pick-ups.The cottage was clean with a beautiful aesthetic - minimal but with everything you need. My daughter and I had a four day stay (M-F) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite restaurants were The Shanty for great seafood and A.J.s for pub-like cuisine (my daughter raved about the honey chicken).The Cape Charles beach was PERFECT for a morning walk and some beach time. We walked through the quaint town and did some shopping, had ice cream at The Brown Dog, and breakfast at The Cape Charles Coffee House (you have to try the French toast).A wonderful last minute getaway to end our summer."
