If you want a decent nights sleep, DON'T stay here!! You can hear the people walking on top of you, you can hear everything from the hallway. People having races down the hallway at 2am. Heard from past customers that the last time they were there a girl was being halled off by police. The sink holds the water in just like the tub holds in the water when you shower. They took out the lamp and an alarm clock betweer the two beds. The lamps were lacking light bulbs, the soap, shampoo, and conditioner were very low and had no conditioner. There are soft spots on the floor. The hot tub was great IF you didnt have to get out every 5 minutes to turn it back on. Most hotels have their timer for 15 minutes.

Very courteous staff. However room seemed to not have been well taken care of. No Kleenex, window left wide open and room was about 10C when I walked in. Sink not draining properly. Overall poor maintenance. Disappointed!!

The hotel is very tired and in need of repair. The tiles at the front entrance are cracked and a risk for falling. When we checked into our room we wanted to watch the Olympics but the TV remote control was broken. It was taped together When I expressed concern they took the remote and later returned it with more tape on it. It still didnt work. The fridge freezer was all frosted up and unuseable. So we were given another room.The TV worked but the fridge was in worse condition. It was frosted up and didnt have any shelves. Also my grandson swam in the pool and got an ear infection. So overall we were not happy with our stay that cost over$200. And to top it all off when we looked at our visa we were charged an extra $30. When we x alled and asked why they said there were stains on the sheets and so they charged us for replacment of a fitted sheet They would not reimburse us,gave us an email of a manager who I will contact. I think I should be compensated for all of our troubles

Honestly it's a basic 2 star hotel but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Barrie with a good breakfast; this meets those needs. The breakfast is good but gets busy early. We were downstairs by 7:10am because it was family day weekend and we knew it would be busy. There was a huge line as we were leaving at 9:15am.

Where to begin... worst hotel I've ever been to, don't waste your money anywhere else is probably better We booked our stay to have a night away from the kids. Thought we would be able to relax, use the heated pool and the complimentary breakfast. None of these happened! The main entrance to the hotel is also lunchroom also party room/ hang out area. When we came in the hotel, there were 30 kids and adults partying in the lobby, couldnt even hear the receptionist. Kids running down the hall with no adult supervision. Found out our room was bo three doors down from the main lobby. We asked to be relocated to another room, receptionist wouldnt allow it. We werent able to sleep the whole night from the amount of noise. Drunk roudy people screaming and walking down the halls at 3 am in the morning. No management in sight. Lots of people complained but nothing was done.The room we stayed in was nothing special. The shower was worse than a garden hose. The walls and curtains were dirty. There were red stains on the wall, dont want to know where they came from. Save your money and go somewhere else!

The room was in rough shape. Sheets were ripped and the bathroom wasn't super clean. The tub looked dirty and the door and door frame were dirty. The outer walkways were a sheet of ice and a hazard.

The room was dirty, linen dirty from the previous customer. I asked for clean linen and I had to change myself. All the personal smile but they do not do anything. If you want to talk to the manager. no chance. she can not be reach. I sent emails and no answer, irresponsible manager. Everything inside the motel is dirty. Lot of snow outside. Adrian

The hot tub was brown and the pool was freezing. My young daughter got an eye infection from the pool or hot tub. She also fell out of the bed in the middle of the night because the edges of the bed are angled towards the floor and cut her knee. I could everything from the people upstairs and there were kids running down halls until midnight…it was very loud and kept my young children awake. There weren’t any towels by the pool and even though we booked the room for 4 people, they only gave us 2. The fridge froze our food and cans exploded. The walls in the bathroom were peeling and bubbling. I also paid extra for a drive up spot on the 1st floor but there were snow piles along the entire hotel. There were cigarette butts surrounding the pool and one of my children stepped on some. The staff was friendly which is why I’m not giving this review a 1. Also the side door doesn’t require a key and I noticed homeless people come in and out.

It’s a cheap place to stay and you get what you pay for - it’s rough and everything is broken. First room the door didn’t lock, so had to switch and wouldn’t have known if we didn’t check. The pool and hot tub were closed down. Breakfast was fine. Unlikely that we would stay again.

Staff was nice Room was dirty with a huge cluster of spider webs by the heater. The room was either hot or cold. Linen was dirty. The place needs some care example scratched up tub and toilet seat, fire alarm falling out of the ceiling, poorly patched area in the bathroom and etc The beds were comfortable but pillows were horrible

The room was ok but the bathroom no word to describe how bad its is , i guess the couldn't find the worse room for us , its disgusting and disappointing for the price we paid ,when we could've stay in a better property for the same price , the bathtub dirty , no body wash, the bathtub courtin was yellow of old and dirt , same as the mat , and more Ill never stay here again or recommended to anybody, my reviews will be 0 but i know they dont care about what costumer said ,just they care about the money and they already got it and i cant do nothing about it
